The new system is not yet open. Details for entrants used last year are expected to be copied into the new service. The exact closing date and 2027 fees have not yet been announced.

- Review the previous syllabus for likely class formats.
- Read the child protection policy.

Step by step
How the online entry process works.
This is how entries worked for the last festival and what to expect again in 2027. Full written instructions are published alongside the syllabus.
- Entries are made online only — paper entries are not accepted.
- Go to the festival's online entry system and create an account, or sign in if you already have one.
- Teachers entering pupils should use one account and add each performer under it.
- Choose the discipline, then the class numbers you want from the syllabus.
- Enter each performer's name exactly as it should appear in the programme and in results.
- Give the performer's age as at the first day of the festival where a class is age-limited.
- Add the title and composer or author of every own-choice piece, plus the timing where the class sets a limit.
- State whether you need the official accompanist or will bring your own.
- Repeat for each class and each performer before moving on.
- Review the full basket carefully — entries cannot easily be changed after the closing date.
- Pay the entry fees online by card through PayPal; a PayPal account is not required.
- Keep the confirmation email as your receipt and record of classes entered.
- Send the official accompanist a photocopy of your music by the Friday after entries close.
- Contact the administrator promptly if any detail is wrong.
